Volleyball Recap: Redington Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Redington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Homer Mariners. If the Huskies were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Mariners when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-6, 25-6.

Alevtina Efimov paced Redington's offense, picking up three kills. Efimov got some help from Rylee Daw and her six assists. Efimov was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Redington's defeat dropped their record down to 1-26. As for Homer, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 26-15-3.

Redington has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Nikiski on the 1st. As for Homer, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Houston on the 1st.
