Basketball Recap: Orthopaedic Comes Up Short

Orthopaedic lost against Aspire Ollin last Wednesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Orthopaedic Vipers were beaten by the Aspire Ollin Jaguars 43-16.

Orthopaedic has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.2 points per game. As for Aspire Ollin, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-7.

Orthopaedic and Aspire Ollin's offenses will be put to the test in their next games. Orthopaedic and Central City Value (who has only given up 22.88 points per game) will meet at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Aspire Ollin will take on Annenberg at 2:30 p.m. on February 13th, a squad that's only allowed 14.77 points per game.
