Volleyball Recap: Lakewood Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Lakewood lost against Eaglecrest back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tigers came up short against the Raptors, falling 3-0. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-18, 25-16.

Madlen Gloessner paced Lakewood's offense, picking up seven kills. Gloessner got some help from Morgan Thompson and her ten assists. Gloessner also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Clara Melancon, racking up two apiece.

Lakewood now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Eaglecrest, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Lakewood has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Westminster on the 4th. As for Eaglecrest, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Denver South on the 4th.
