Volleyball Recap: Woonsocket Takes a Loss

Woonsocket lost against Lincoln back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Villa Novans lost 3-0 to the Lions. The Villa Novans just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-6, 25-19.

Woonsocket's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Lincoln, they pushed their record up to 10-1 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Woonsocket will welcome North Smithfield at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. The Villa Novans are facing the Northmen at the right time seeing as the Northmen are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Lincoln, they will host Pilgrim at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
