Volleyball Recap: Grosse Pointe South Comes Up Short + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Grosse Pointe South can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Bloomfield Hills Black Hawks on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Black Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in September.

Gabby DiVita paced Grosse Pointe South's offense, picking up 19 kills. DiVita got some help from Lucy Edwards and her 24 assists. Charlotte Kowal controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Bloomfield Hills got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Alyssa Moir out in front who had ten digs and two assists. Moir is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Julia Colosimo, who had seven digs and one assist.

Grosse Pointe South's loss dropped their record down to 16-19-2. As for Bloomfield Hills, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 40-6-1.

Grosse Pointe South does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bloomfield Hills, they will take on Seaholm/Groves at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
