Highland has gone 9-1 against Barberton recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Hornets are taking a road trip to square off against the Magics at 5:00 p.m. Highland is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.

Highland's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They came out on top against Copley by a score of 3-0.

Not much got past Cooper Richnafsky, who gave up just four hits to keep Copley off the board.

At the plate, Highland saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grady Gibb, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Meanwhile, Barberton came up short against Raceland on Thursday and fell 6-3.

Highland's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Barberton, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Highland came out on top in a nail-biter against Barberton in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, sneaking past 4-2. Will the Hornets repeat their success, or do the Magics have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
