Volleyball Recap: Madison Takes a Loss

Madison lost against Sioux Falls Christian back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bulldogs took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chargers. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-11.

Madison's offense was headlined by Lydia Nelson and Jaya Engels, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Karley Theede C and her nine assists.

Madison's defeat dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Sioux Falls Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-8 record this season.

Madison wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 win against West Central on the 18th. As for Sioux Falls Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Lennox on the 18th.
