Soccer Game Preview: Adams City vs. Legacy

The Adams City Eagles will take on the Legacy Lightning at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Adams City is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games.

On Tuesday, Adams City made easy work of Skyview and carried off a 4-1 win. The result was nothing new for Adams City, who have now won five matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Skyview with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Leo Esparza-Santos (2), Eder Villa, and Christian Sanchez.

Meanwhile, Legacy faced Broomfield in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Lightning came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 3-1. Tyler Stephens had to tread lightly for part of the match after he was hit with a yellow card, but that was the only trouble Legacy got from the refs.

Legacy's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-0-2 and their overall record up to 9-0-3. As for Adams City, their win bumped their record up to 9-3-1.
