Downers Grove South can bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They came out on top against the Joliet Catholic Hilltoppers by a score of 2-0. The Mustangs were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Hilltoppers, so the Mustangs were just returning the favor.

Downers Grove South's victory bumped their record up to 11-17. As for Joliet Catholic, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season.
