Diamond Ranch's season-opener on Wednesday wasn't quite what the team was looking for considering the end result. Neither they nor the Walnut Mustangs could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw. Diamond Ranch had to tread lightly for part of the matchup as Alexander Villalobos and Francisco Rodriguez were both handed yellow cards, which could explain the final result.

Victor Castillo and Orlando (Jayden) Rodriguez scored both of Diamond Ranch's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.
