Softball Recap: East Laurens Takes a Loss

East Laurens was the 8-0 winner over Wheeler County when they last played one another back in September of 2018, but their luck changed this time around. The Falcons might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 3-2 to the Bulldogs, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

East Laurens' loss dropped their record down to 17-5. As for Wheeler County, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.

East Laurens wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 23-0 win against Southwest on the 30th. As for Wheeler County, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 15-0 victory against First Preparatory Christian Academy on the 30th.
