Volleyball Game Preview: San Gabriel Matadors vs. Schurr Spartans

San Gabriel hasn't had much luck against Schurr recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Matadors will be playing in front of their home fans against the Spartans at 5:15 p.m.

San Gabriel's tournament run continued when they took on Taft on Saturday. The Matadors fell just short of the Toreadors by a score of 1-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Matadors haven't been shut out since back in August.

Meanwhile, Schurr posted their closest win since September 5th on Saturday. They skirted past Poly 1-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Spartans.

San Gabriel's defeat dropped their record down to 18-6. As for Schurr, their victory bumped their record up to 9-17.

San Gabriel was able to grind out a solid win over Schurr when the teams last played on September 11th, winning 3-1. Will the Matadors repeat their success, or do the Spartans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
