Basketball Recap: West Union Dragons vs. North Adams Green Devils
If West Union was riding high fresh off their 66-8 takedown of Western last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The West Union Dragons lost to the North Adams Green Devils on the road by a 62-43 margin on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Dragons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 525th, while the Green Devils are ranked 211th).

Several Dragons players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Olivia Lewis, who posted nine points and seven boards. Lewis continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Madison Stout, who had eight points in addition to five rebounds and three steals.
Even though they lost, West Union smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in six consecutive contests.
