Hampshire waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with five straight wins... but they left with six. Everything went their way against the Conant Cougars as they made off with an 11-1 victory. Considering the Whip-Purs have won 13 games by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
Hampshire got a great performance from Anthony Karbowski as he struck out ten batters over 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits.
At the plate, Ari Fivelson was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Nathan Kolder, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI.
Hampshire was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .607. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
