Basketball Recap: Tompkins Picks Up Fifth Straight Win at Home

There's no place like home for Tompkins, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They snuck past the Seven Lakes Spartans with a 57-52 win on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 82-56 back in December of 2024.

Madison Carlton and Dulce Franco certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Carlton dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds, while Franco posted 12 points and four steals. With that strong performance, Carlton is now averaging an impressive 8.5 boards per game. Willtrace Ngoh was another key player, putting up eight points.

Tompkins wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 56-33 win against Katy on the 31st. As for Seven Lakes, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 53-39 victory against Mayde Creek on the 31st.
