Cedar Creek lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Arcadia, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's game. The Cougars claimed a resounding 46-8 win over the Hornets. Considering the Cougars have won five contests by more than 22 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Cedar Creek's defense made their presence known, laying out Kristofer Jackson five times. Bryce Martin was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two sacks himself. He also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with eight.

The victory made it two in a row for Cedar Creek and bumps their season record up to 6-3. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 3-6 Arcadia and 3-5 Lincoln Prep. As for Arcadia, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-6.
