May River put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 80-39 win over the Hardeeville Hurricanes. Fans of the Sharks have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

May River's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Luke Albright, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and ten boards. Albright has also also been stellar as far as shooting accuracy is concerned: he's posted one of at least 50% every time he's hit the court this season. Another player making a difference was KJ Ford, who posted 13 points and six rebounds.

May River smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds every time they've taken the court this season.

May River's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Hardeeville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. May River will venture away from home to face off against Hilton Head Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Hardeeville, they will head out to challenge Savannah Christian at 6:30 p.m. on December 2.
