Football Recap: Eau Claire Takes a Loss

Eau Claire lost against Mid-Carolina back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Shamrocks received a blow as they fell 20-6 to the Rebels. The contest marked the Shamrocks' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

JAHCORY SUMPTER threw for 95 yards on seven of 22 attempts. KYLE WALKER was his top target, picking up 50 receiving yards.

Eau Claire has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season. As for Mid-Carolina, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-5.

Coming up, Eau Claire will head out on the road to challenge Batesburg-Leesville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Shamrocks will need to watch out since the Panthers have now posted at least 31 points in their last four matchups. As for Mid-Carolina, they will host Saluda at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
