Basketball Game Preview: Laurel Hill Hoboes vs. Northview Chiefs

Laurel Hill and Northview are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2018, but not for long. The Laurel Hill Hoboes will be playing at home against the Northview Chiefs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Laurel Hill managed to keep up with Central until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Laurel Hill took a blow against Central, falling 72-44. The Hoboes' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Northview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 56-37 to Tate.

Northview's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Laurel Hill, their loss dropped their record down to 11-5.

Everything came up roses for Laurel Hill against Northview in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as the squad secured a 74-25 win. Will Laurel Hill repeat their success, or does Northview have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
