Volleyball Recap: Cedar Catholic Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Cedar Catholic lost against Battle Creek back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Trojans fell just short of the Braves by a score of 3-2.

Battle Creek was led to victory by Jaidyn Smutny and Ava Kuchar. Smutny had 19 digs and three assists, while Kuchar had 20 assists and six digs. Kuchar has been hot, having posted 16 or more assists the last five times she's played. Piper Storm was another key player, getting six digs and four aces.

Cedar Catholic has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-17 record this season. As for Battle Creek, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 18-10.
