Football Recap: Mundelein Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Waukegan last Friday, Mundelein came back down to earth. The Mustangs took a 24-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lake Forest Scouts on Friday. If the Mustangs were looking for revenge after losing 14-6 to the Scouts when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Despite the loss, Mundelein still got an impressive performance from Logan Young, who rushed for 44 yards and one touchdown, and also threw for 154 yards and one TD. 87 of those passing yards were hauled in by Trevor Carman.

Mundelein's defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Lake Forest, their record is now 4-5.

As of now, neither Mundelein nor the Scouts have any future games scheduled.
