Recap: Needles Mustangs vs. Lincoln County Lynx
The Needles Mustangs''s game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They slipped by Lincoln County 22-21. The win was all the more spectacular given Needles' disadvantage in MaxPreps's football rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 649th in California, while Lincoln County is ranked 56th in Nevada).
Kalen Bart and Kristian Johnson certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Bart picked up 92 receiving yards and a touchdown, while Johnson rushed for 84 yards on only nine carries.
Needles now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Lincoln County, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 4-5.
Needles will stay at home for another week and welcome Lincoln County at 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd. As for Lincoln County, they will head out on the road to face off against Needles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
