Recap: Wayne Badgers vs. Milford Tigers
The Wayne Badgers won the last time they faced the Milford Tigers, and things went their way on Thursday too. Wayne walked away with a 37-28 victory over Milford.
Leading Wayne to victory were Raegyn Blackburn and Makayla Jones. Blackburn scored 11 points, while Jones scored seven points along with six rebounds and six steals.
Wayne's win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Milford, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-8.
Wayne will head out on the road to square off against Piute at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Piute will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak. As for Milford, they will be playing at home against Rockwell at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
