Baseball Recap: Bethel Takes a Loss

Bethel lost against Curtis back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bison fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 7-6. The Bison have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Taylor Wistrand and Brayden Czestyicki stepped up to the plate in a big way. Wistrand got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI, while Czestyicki went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double. Another player making a difference was Keegan Peck, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with two runs.

Bethel's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Curtis, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

Bethel does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Curtis, they will face off against Peninsula at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
