Soccer Recap: Chapel Hill Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Chapel Hill can now relate to. They fell 3-1 to the Sulphur Springs Wildcats on Thursday. That's two games in a row now that Chapel Hill have lost by exactly two goals.

This is the second loss in a row for Chapel Hill and nudges their season record down to 14-10. As for Sulphur Springs, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-3-1 record this season.

Chapel Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sulphur Springs, they will challenge Kilgore at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Kilgore will roll in looking for their 16th straight win, something Sulphur Springs surely won't give up without a fight.
