Stanley-Boyd came tearing into Thursday's game with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 9-4 win over the McDonell Central Macks. This was a revenge game for the Orioles: when they faced off against the Macks back in April, they had to take a 8-2 defeat.

Caitlen Ketterhagen spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four runs (all of which were unearned) on three hits and racked up 15 Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Kelly Lew was incredible, going 4-for-5 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Kendall Sikora, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

Stanley-Boyd's victory bumped their record up to 16-1. As for McDonell Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-6-1.

Looking ahead, Stanley-Boyd will take on Columbus Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Orioles will need to watch out since the Dons have now posted at least ten runs in their last nine contests. As for McDonell Central, they will challenge Cameron at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
