Baseball Recap: Mulberry Takes a Loss

Mulberry lost to Discovery back in March and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Panthers fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 7-5. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Caleb Arocho was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. Josh Lacy was another key player, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Mulberry's loss dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Discovery, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-8.

Mulberry does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Discovery, they will be playing at home against Davenport at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Broncos will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
