Basketball Recap: Cotter Comes Up Short

Cotter lost against Greene County Tech back in December of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cotter Warriors took a blow against the Greene County Tech Golden Eagles, falling 77-26. The matchup marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Cotter dropped their record down to 4-14 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Greene County Tech, their victory bumped their record up to 7-5.

Cotter will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Mountain Home Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on January 6, 2025. Cotter is facing Mountain Home Christian Academy at the right time seeing as Mountain Home Christian Academy is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Greene County Tech, they will head out on the road to face off against Buffalo Island Central at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
