Basketball Recap: Booker T. Washington Continues Home Dominance on Friday

Booker T. Washington's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to Crestview on Friday. The Booker T. Washington Wildcats walked away with a 59-48 victory over the Pine Forest Eagles. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 156th, while the Eagles are ranked 404th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

When it comes to explaining why Pine Forest lost, don't look at Micah Franklin. Despite the final result, he went 7 for 14 on his way to 20 points and three steals. Marlin Williams was another key player, putting up eight points and seven rebounds.
