After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Phoenix, New Buffalo was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past the River Valley Mustangs 65-20. The win continues a trend for the Bison in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won six in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead New Buffalo to victory, but perhaps none more so than Lucas Forker, who almost dropped a double-double with 18 points and nine boards. Trevor James was another key player, going 7-for-12 en route to 15 points and six rebounds.

The victory got New Buffalo back to even at 1-1. As for River Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
