West St. Mary hadn't done well against Franklin recently (they were 1-7 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Wolfpack snuck past the Hornets with a 14-8 win. For the Wolfpack, this counts as revenge for the 26-0 victory the Hornets walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

The win made it two in a row for West St. Mary and bumps their season record up to 6-1. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 8 points in those games. As for Franklin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.
