Football Recap: Omaha Central Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Omaha Central, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They were the clear victors by a 27-7 margin over the Fremont Tigers on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won three matchups by 20 points or more so far this season.

Omaha Central pushed their record up to 6-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 38.7 points over those games. As for Fremont, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5.

Looking ahead, Omaha Central will face off against Lincoln East at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Spartans' defense has only allowed 14.1 points per game this season, so the Eagles' offense will have their work cut out for them. Fremont does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
