Soccer Recap: Glendale Triumphs

Glendale proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by eight) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. Their defense stepped up to hand the Kickapoo Chiefs a 1-0 shutout. Glendale haven't had any issues with Kickapoo recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Glendale's victory bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Kickapoo, they dropped their record down to 3-10 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Glendale is set to challenge their familiar foe Lebanon at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Kickapoo will take on rival Central at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
