Basketball Recap: Phoenix Day School for the Deaf Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Phoenix Day School for the Deaf played a tough contest on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against the North Phoenix Preparatory Academy Gladiators, falling 58-13. The Roadrunners lost against the Gladiators in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 51-27 score last time.

Miguel Martinez Ramos was Phoenix Day School for the Deaf's leading scorer, having posted six points. Martinez Ramos also led the team in rebounds with seven.

Phoenix Day School for the Deaf's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for North Phoenix Preparatory Academy, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Phoenix Day School for the Deaf will head out to challenge Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for North Phoenix Preparatory Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Maryvale Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
