Basketball Recap: Lakewood Takes a Loss

Lakewood lost against Northridge back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lakewood Lancers lost 54-33 to the Northridge Vikings. The Lancers' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Lakewood's record now sits at 3-19. As for Northridge, their win bumped their record up to 8-13.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Lakewood will head out on the road to square off against Heath at 4:00 p.m. on February 22nd. Heath will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Lakewood surely won't give up without a fight. As for Northridge, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Watkins Memorial at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
