Meanwhile, West Valley made easy work of North Central on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Wolfpack: they've now won four in a row.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: West Valley took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-14, 25-11.

Pullman's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for West Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2.
