Baseball Recap: Watertown Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Watertown came into Thursday's matchup having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Badger Badgers by a score of 5-2 on Thursday.

Watertown saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cameron Kranz, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Calvin Hurtgen was another, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.

Watertown's win bumped their record up to 14-10. As for Badger, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-7.

Coming up, Watertown will square off against Hartford at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Goslings' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Orioles have averaged an impressive 6.6 runs per game this season. Badger does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
