Volleyball Recap: Depaul Catholic's Undefeated Season over After Three Games + How To Watch

DePaul Catholic lost against Immaculate Heart Academy back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Spartans fell 2-0 to the Blue Eagles. The loss put an end to the Spartans' undefeated start to the season.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-13.

Immaculate Heart Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Lilith Roman, who had 15 digs and two aces. Those 15 digs gave Roman a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Fowler, who had nine digs and two aces.

Having lost for the first time this season, DePaul Catholic fell to 2-1. As for Immaculate Heart Academy, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, DePaul Catholic will challenge Academy of the Holy A at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Immaculate Heart Academy, they will face off against Ridgewood at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
