Jay and Chipley squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Jay had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Tigers. The Royals' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Jay was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-23, 25-20.

Jay's defeat dropped their record down to 22-5. As for Chipley, the win was the 14th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 23-6.

Jay does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Chipley, after both having extra time off, they and Liberty County will shake off the rust and duke it out at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
