Soccer Recap: Amador Takes a Loss

Amador was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Galt Warriors, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, the Buffaloes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 1052nd, while the Warriors are ranked 374th).

Amador's loss dropped their record down to 1-12-2. As for Galt, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-2-2 record this season.

Amador will look to defend their home pitch on Wednesday against Union Mine at 6:30 p.m. As for Galt, they will challenge Liberty Ranch at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Galt is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.4 goals per game this season.
