Volleyball Recap: Richmond Hill Beats Calvary Day for Their Sixth Straight Victory

Richmond Hill entered their tilt with Calvary Day on Tuesday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Cavaliers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in August.

Richmond Hill easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-19.

Richmond Hill's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Bryanna Da Silva, who had eight digs and two aces. With that strong performance, Da Silva is now averaging an impressive 12 assists per game. Kylee Gilbert was another key player, getting eight digs and four assists.

Richmond Hill's victory bumped their record up to 29-2. As for Calvary Day, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-8 record this season.

Richmond Hill and Calvary Day should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings. The Wildcats will challenge St. Vincent's at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday with a big rank advantage (13 vs. 61). Meanwhile, Calvary Day (ranked 147th) will meet Windsor Forest (ranked 465th) at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
