It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Washington can now relate to. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the De La Salle Meteors who were credited with the victory on Saturday. The De La Salle Meteors got it done in the shootout by posting three goals to the Washington Panthers' two. Washington's loss signaled the end of their 14-game winning streak.

Their goal came courtesy of John Clift, who's now up to 13 this season.

Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 29-2-1. As for De La Salle, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 25-3-1.
