Recap: Alpaugh Buffalos vs. Riverdale Cowboys
On Saturday, Alpaugh had to suffer through a rough 62-30 loss at the hands of Riverdale. Alpaugh has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Alpaugh's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jesse Alcazar, who scored 12 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals. Alcazar continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jesus Nunez, who scored 8 points along with 12 rebounds.
Alpaugh has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season. As for Riverdale, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.
Alpaugh will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Caruthers at 5:30 p.m. on December 4th. As for Riverdale, they will face off against Wonderful College Prep Academy at TBD on Friday.
