Elkhart won the last time they faced South Bend Saint Joseph and things went their way on Thursday too. The Lions were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Huskies. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

One reason for the win was Elkhart's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-21, 25-11.

Rylee Drummond paced Elkhart's offense, picking up 12 kills. Drummond got some help from Ava Polack and her 15 assists. Drummond was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Elkhart's record is now 17-4. As for South Bend Saint Joseph, their loss dropped their record down to 9-14.

Elkhart wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Homestead on the 27th. As for South Bend Saint Joseph, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Jimtown on the 30th.
