Soccer Recap: Rio Hondo Takes a Loss

After flying high against King last Tuesday, Rio Hondo came back down to earth. The Rio Hondo Bobcats came up short against the Port Isabel Tarpons on Monday, falling 5-1. The Bobcats have struggled against the Tarpons recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Rio Hondo's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Port Isabel, they moved to 2-4 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing La Feria the next time they take the pitch. Port Isabel will head out to face La Feria at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Rio Hondo will host them at 7:00 p.m. on February 3rd.
