Basketball Recap: Walkersville Takes a Loss

Fans were treated to a Battle of the Lions on Tuesday. Walkersville came up short against Liberty, falling 73-49. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Walkersville has suffered against Liberty since December 13, 2018.

Walkersville is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-12. As for Liberty, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

Looking ahead, Walkersville will challenge South Carroll on Friday. As for Liberty, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Smithsburg at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
