Denver East's tournament run continued when they took on Liberty on Friday. The Angels walked away with a 67-60 victory over the Lancers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Angels.

Denver East got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Dayesun Collier out in front who went 6-for-11 from beyond the arc to rack up 29 points. Those 29 points gave Collier a new career-high. Nijier Alexander was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 18 points and nine rebounds.

Denver East's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Liberty, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.
