Jayden Coleman leads a balanced attack to beat Muchin College Prep

Recap: UIC College Prep Firecats vs. Muchin College Prep Mountain Lions
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Chicago Hope Academy, the UIC College Prep Firecats were happy to have found some success on Thursday. They secured a 46-40 W over Muchin College Prep. That result was just more of the same for these two, as UIC College Prep also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead UIC College Prep to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jayden Coleman, who scored 16 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Marcus Moore, who scored six points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
UIC College Prep's win bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Muchin College Prep, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.
UIC College Prep will square off against Julian at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Julian will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. Muchin College Prep will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against DRW College Prep at 7:00 p.m. on January 17th.
