Crossroads waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Centennial Apaches 78-34. Given the Roadrunners' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 132nd, while the Apaches are ranked 1123rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Crossroads now has a winning record of 14-13. As for Centennial, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-20.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crossroads won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Viewpoint at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Crossroads' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matches. As for Centennial, they will also get right back to it: they'll square off against Hawthorne at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Centennial is facing Hawthorne at the right time seeing as Hawthorne is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
