Volleyball Recap: Field Takes a Loss

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Field and Sandy Spring Friends, and Sandy Spring Friends kept the tradition alive. The Falcons fell just short of the Wildebeests by a score of 3-2 on Friday. The Falcons were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildebeests earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

While Field ultimately came up short, they really made Sandy Spring Friends work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 23-25, 21-25, 25-20, 15-10.

Field's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Sandy Spring Friends, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-7.

Looking ahead, Field will be playing in front of their home fans against Model Secondary School for the Deaf at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sandy Spring Friends, they are taking a road trip to square off against Spencerville Adventist Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
